It’s quite dated looking, but its atmosphere, pacing, and general gameplay mood allow the game to thrive for all of the right reasons. It also comes with some serious graphical limits, which one might expect from the small development team that worked on it. It was also praised for having a more panicked environment than other horror games such as Warehouse 13. The facility you are in is in a state of total disarray, and your goal is simple – get to the exit and make away from the facility. The game itself has a pretty simple process – you play as ‘Class-D’, a form of test subject. How good, then, can SCP be? Supernatural horror on a budget It’s terrifying, engaging, and highly exciting – but it’s also got some limits. Taking part in the body of a human test subject who has been stored away, you need to try and break out from the SCP facility and escape. The game was pretty well regarded when it was first released.
